A first meeting bringing everyone together was held on Saturday 25th October at Razzett tal-Hbieberija, M’scala. Clients who attended the amputee rehabilitation and people who worked with amputees were invited to attend this meeting. This first meeting was very well attended. Information about the plan to set up a non-governmental organisation, with the aim of supporting amputees and advocating for their rights, was presented to the attendees. This was the first meeting of what later became known as Amputees4Amputees. This first meeting also gave the attendees the right opportunity to socialise together and share stories.
