We are incredibly proud of our own Antonio Flores, who participated in the 2024 Paralympics and achieved a seasonal best in the 100m. Well done, Antonio, hard work pays off. Believe it, achieve it!

At our latest members meeting, we invited nutritionist Fleur Bugeja to discuss healthy eating habits. A healthy, balanced diet is important for everyone, especially amputees. Fleur guided us on getting the necessary nutrients and dividing our meals.

As the prosthetics services at OPU are transitioning to a new provider, A4A President Amy Camilleri Zahra, Vice-President Angela Cassar, and members met with the Health Minister. The aim of this meeting was to discuss prosthetic services,  highlight the importance of continuity, and relay concerns brought up by our members.

 

Further meetings are scheduled with the office of the Ombudsman and Chief Medical Officer (CMO).
